R.I.P. JAMES GANDOLFINI, Brew’s favorite gangster (1961-2013)

JamesGandolfini-tonysopranoNot about jazz, only an obituary, rather a dedication to a great actor.

I loved watching “The Sopranos”. A friend of mine has lent me the complete series on DVD’s. For some weeks two years ago, there was no day I didn’t spend without this, err, lovable family.

R.I.P. James Gandolfini, it seemed you were a nice guy who enjoyed life. You will certainly meet other kind folks in heaven, but none of them will be a real mobster.

Those ‘good fellas’ have gone somewhere else.

Now, the angels will sing for you: And The Angels Sing, featuring Martha Tilton & Ziggy Elman with Benny Goodman & His Orchestra, 1939.

Note: Sorry for the inconvenience. I don’t know why Mr. Samuel Cernuto has removed his  video-obituary. — Here’s James Gandolfini “Inside The Actors Studio”:
