Something joyful for the rainy weekend: ->>>————————> ->>>——————> There’s such “A LOT OF LIVIN’ TO DO” …

… sang Lady Jean Turner with Stan Kenton & His Mellophone Orchestra in September 1963.

This LP is a greatly swinging, modern big band album, featuring arrangements by Stan Kenton, Lennie Niehaus & Bill Holman.

Jean Turner was the last regular vocalist in Stan Kenton’s orchestra. — She would have deserved to be a bigger name.

My favorite track from the album is her vibrant “A Lot Of Livin’ To Do” which has been uploaded by one of my friends at YouTube, by LittleMissLounge. — Thanks for that!
